7 THINGS HIGHLY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE DO DIVERSELY

8 THINGS (1)

Who are highly successful people and what do they do diversely than others? Well, in short, they are the people who live their own lives in a way they desired to live. Living a desired successful life- almost everyone craves a piece of it. But unfortunately, not everyone works to accomplish on their own dreams. And those who have truly accomplished remarkable results in their own life are very rare. So, this is what makes being successful something even more precious.

When it comes to doing diversely, highly successful people always have the ability to accept the fact that “We Are Never Completely Successful” Yes, you heard that right, the highly successful people in this world believe that they aren’t successful yet. It’s a second person perspective.

Let’s say you own a startup which is growing eminently. As startups are all about new creations, ideas. So the point you start believing that you are successful, your Innovation-Time graph starts decreasing. Why? Because at the back of the mind you’ve already persuaded being successful and your entire mind stops excelling and learning. And then your brand name starts deteriorating. While you don’t create new stuff anymore. Using the same old methods, techniques- you feel successful enough.

So this aspect is what makes them think and do differently, they never feel fulfilled, they are always thirsty for success to come. In this fast-moving world, there is no sure shot path to success. The road once taken is no more “ The road not taken.” Everyone will walk down the path to reach success. And how many would achieve their goal? 0.99%. Yeah, that’s the figure.

Success is all about changing techniques, adaptability, never-ending knowledge. Because a successful man never stops learning. Everyone in this world knows what makes a person highly successful, Google search is filled with millions of such articles. But what goes wrong then? Either people falter midway or they forget the most important aspect of being a highly successful person.

The secret to success lies in individual habits, thoughts, emotional energy, daily habits/rituals, and behavior.  Though there are a few common things highly successful people do diversely than others.

Believe in yourself

This particular sentence you might have heard thousands of times before and I have discussed a lot of times in this blog. In fact, everyone believes in their goals but highly successful people take it a step forward and work on their goals until they reach it.

Do you believe in yourself and your dreams? If you don’t believe in your dreams, who else would? It is your dream and you have to protect it. Never let anyone says that it is impossible or it cannot be done.  Arnold Schwarzenegger works hard and ended up being a movie star when people told him that it was not possible for him to act because his body was too big and his name was difficult to pronounce. Can you imagine that?
You have to believe in your dreams and yourself. You have to trust that somehow things will work out for you. And you must always prepare yourself and work on your dreams.

What is the number one reason why many people never succeed at their goals in life? Probably a refusal to try! The higher you set your sights, the scarier the prospect of failure can be. But that is no reason not to try. What you never know can’t hurt you—or so you might think.
The truth is, however, it is hurting you every day not to give yourself a chance. So take that leap you have been putting off. You have nothing to lose and everything to gain. You never know; it could be the leap that changes your life.

“Being busy means nothing, accomplishments come from getting things done.”

Highly successful people focus on the things that really make a difference in accomplishing their goals. They believe that even 20% of productive work delivers 80% of the end results. So just find out what exactly is that 20 % and work on them.

Money can be lost and made again, but time spent can never be reclaimed. So use your time wisely, and learn what habits bring more results. Focus on being productive than being busy.

network

The most successful people never try to go it alone if they do not have to, and they always look for opportunities to network and expand their circle of friends and business associates.
They realize that every conversation is an opportunity, and could hold the seed of potential for a new business relationship or venture. When they find themselves facing harsh times, they reach out to others for ideas. When others in their networks struggle, they offer solutions.

What is a success? Most people would probably define success as achieving a goal. But you can never be successful if you set unachievable goals. Many goals are unrealistic or too nebulous for follow-through.
Instead, try setting S.M.A.R.T. goals. S.M.A.R.T. is an acronym which stands for Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Relevant, Timely. The acronym pretty much says it all. These are goals which are concrete, narrowly defined, and which you can measure your progress towards. You can achieve them within a finite amount of time, and they are relevant to your overall success.

Successful people focus on the positive wherever possible—but not blindly. Optimism helps us spot opportunities we would miss if we were focusing on the negative.

While you must always plan for the future and for potential traps, you must believe there is a way across the chasms that gape below. Otherwise, you will turn back long before the journey is complete, or take a fall along the way. When you are setting a goal, by all means, engage in lots of positive thinking about how likely you are to achieve it. Believing in your ability to succeed is enormously helpful for creating and sustaining your motivation. But whatever you do, don’t underestimate how difficult it will be to reach your goal. Most goals worth achieving require time, planning, effort, and persistence. Studies show that thinking things will come to you easily and effortlessly leaves you ill-prepared for the journey ahead, and significantly increases the odds of failure.

In the professional world, there is a lot of pressure always to be working. If you are not working 20 hours and sleeping 4, you must not want it badly enough. That is what people will tell you in pretty much any field.

However, that is simply not true, and people who live that way will eventually burn out and crash hard. They think they can sacrifice their health, relationships, and leisure time for a few hard years and then coast for the rest of their lives. Usually, it doesn’t work in entrepreneurship also. Most successful entrepreneurs work very hard for a long time but not in that way. That just makes it more important than ever to find time for other important things in your life, and especially for important people! A healthy, balanced life is necessary if you are going to have the strength to hang in there for the long term.
It also is essential to remember why you want success. Most of us want monetary success to support our lifestyles and families. But if you throw out your life and family along the way, what success will you have achieved? So highly successful people never forgot to take care of themselves and their family. They believe in priorities most of the time.

So this was my take and observation on highly successful people. All the time when I was using the word highly successful people I felt a little biased because I believe except in a few aspects we all are alike. However, they are recognized highly successful due to the hard work they’ve done to become in the position what they are now. But if you think you are working even harder yet you are not getting the recognization then probably you need to change your perspective towards success. Because being successful isn’t a degree which comes after an education, it’s an applause which comes after a great hard work. So keep working hard, working smart as much as you can! For yourself!

It is my hope that, after reading about these 7 things highly successful people do differently, you have gained some insight into all the things you have been known all along. Even more important, I hope you are able to identify the mistakes that have hindered you and use that knowledge to your advantage from now on. Remember, you don’t need to become a different person to become a highly successful one. It’s never what you are, but what you do.
All the best! Cheers! 🙂
